Azteca Grill, nestled at 110 Monmouth St, Red Bank, NJ, presents a delightful fusion of authentic Mexican cuisine and warm hospitality. Customers consistently praise the freshness and quality of their dishes. Bernadette Bennett commended the takeout experience, noting the 'fresh and delicious' food.
The cozy atmosphere is particularly appreciated, as highlighted by Ed, who enjoyed the Chicken Fajitas. He found them to be well-seasoned and served hot, emphasizing the surprising quality of the food for a casual eatery. Marisa E echoed this sentiment, raving about the guacamole as the best she’s ever had and praising the huge portion of their steak quesadilla.
For spice lovers, Alberto Scalia's experience with the shrimp al Diablo reveals Azteca Grill's skill in balancing flavors and heat. A perfect kick without overwhelming heat makes it a must-try. Lastly, Patrick Freeman noted the restaurant's location is ideal for pre-theater dining, making it a convenient choice for those visiting the Count Basie Theatre.
Azteca Grill is not just a meal; it’s an experience filled with flavorful highlights and attentive service, promising patrons a memorable culinary journey.

03/07/2025: We stopped in for dinner before a show at the Count Basie Theatre. It is a small but cozy eatery. The waitress was polite and patient. We enjoyed two orders of Chicken Fajita. This dish was well seasoned, served hot and the Fajitas were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine. I would definitely dine here again. WELL DONE!

Whenerver i see on the menu the word diablo, i have to try it. After taking my first bite of their shrimp al Diablo, FINALLY SOMEONE GOT IT RIGHT! The plate had the right amount heat that to be called " A Diablo". Not over the top but enough kick to enjoy the flavors of the whole dish. Btw, the rest of my party did pick the more traditional mexican plates and enjoyed them as well.

My Wife and I enjoyed a great meal at Azteca last night before our show at the Count Basie. Great food and nice ambiance and our server was very nice. Plentiful portions and right across from the theater.

Came to Azteca's for a meal before going across the street to Count Basie Theatre. I got the chicken burrito and was not disappointed. It was so big that it was also my lunch the next day. The servers are lovely young ladies and so polite. Our food came out promptly, hot and delicious. Definitely coming here again.

Really enjoyed this place, it's right across the street from Count Basie Theater. Had the Azteca Salad which was huge and very tasty and the Sopa de Mariscos. The soup was loaded with seafood and was simply delicious. Great little restaurant and also a BYOB which is awesome.
